• What we do

WILDBRANCH is a creative, missional community in the heart of Tokyo, making space to explore life with Jesus and live from the heart.

We cultivate a way of living deeply knowing and being known by God, formed in community, and expressed creatively in the world. Everything we do flows from this rhythm.

    PRAYER.

Encountering God in the every day

Prayer is not an activity or event for us. It is the source of our life.

It is not just words spoken to God. It is the very connection with God with all of who we are.

Each month we host extended prayer gatherings where we worship, listen, and create space to go deeper through guided prayer activities and reflective practices. We also offer workshops and explore prayer spaces across the city, helping individuals and communities encounter God in their everyday.

Prayer is our breath. It’s how we remain alive.

    _____

    COMMUNITY.

    Belonging in the Story

We are not grafted in alone.

Each week, we gather around the table to share meals, conversation, and life together. These evenings are simple, honest spaces to come deeper into the heart of God and into relationship with one another.

Through conversations, mentoring, retreats, and collaborations, we cultivate a community that grows slowly and intentionally, dreaming of a new generation, an army, deeply rooted in love for Jesus.

Community is where we are formed into the likeness of Jesus, into the person God created us to be, in the Story. It’s the place we find our belonging.

    _____

    MISSION.

    Life expressed outward

The life of God never stays hidden.

It goes into the neighborhood and culture. It sees those who have been overlooked. Speaks out for those without a voice.

We host workshops on dreams, passion and creativity, helping each other discover how each of our wild, precious lives gets woven into God’s big Story. Through each of our lives and creative collaborations, we seek to bring thoughtful disruption into the current and future landscape of Japan.

Mission for us is not religious activity. It is living out our love for God, seeing His beauty in the person in front of us.
